Front Desk Associate - Concierge

  • Reports To: Recreation Administrative Manager
  • Wage: $12.32 - $13.50/Hour

In Falcon - Meridian Service Metropolitan District is recruiting for a part-time Front Desk associate. Responsibilities include providing reception and concierge services related to the District's fitness, recreation, and sports programs at the Recreation Center.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • 1. Provides reception and concierge service experiences for current and potential residents of Meridian Ranch.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains resident information in the resident data base
  • Registers residents and guests for fee-based programs and facility rentals.
  • Staffs the front desk reception area by checking in residents to the recreation center, responding to resident questions and concerns, answering the telephone and providing accurate information, and opening and closing the building for daily operations.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Applicants currently enrolled in their High school diploma program will be considered.

Certificates and Licenses:
First Aid & CPR required within 90 days of hire.

Wastewater Operations Lead

In Falcon, Co – Meridian Service Metropolitan District is recruiting for a full-time Wastewater Operations Lead. Responsible for overseeing the wastewater division including administration, and operation of wastewater collection, pretreatment, metering, and pumping and conveyance facilities by performing the following duties. We are seeking an experienced, motivated person who enjoys being challenged and working in the wastewater field.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Serves as operator in responsible charge of wastewater collection, lift station, and conveyance facilities in accordance with regulations of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
  2. Oversees the operations and maintenance of the sewer lift station, metering manholes, and discharge control vaults. *
  3. Maintains and operates the sewer collection system, sewer force mains, including manholes, pipes, and outfalls. *
  4. Samples water as required per Inter Governmental Agreements with state and local area governments. *
  5. Inspects grease traps. *
  6. Assists with preparation and management of wastewater preliminary budgets. *
  7. Approves monthly invoices. *
  8. Operates and maintains non-potable transfer systems. *
  9. Oversees or participates in sewer line maintenance. *
  10. Operates and maintains under drain infiltration pits and systems. *
  11. Inspects new home water and sewer systems installation. *
  12. Maintains monthly and annual flow totals logs. *
  13. Reviews and provides input regarding construction plans and observes construction of sewer facilities. *
  14. Operates and maintains water infiltration systems, including monthly monitoring and seasonal influx with increased monitoring.
  15. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses

  • State of Colorado Class 2 Collection Operator Certificate – Required *
  • State of Colorado Class 2 Distribution Certificate – Desirable
  • State of Colorado Class C Water Treatment Operator Certificate – Desirable
  • Or as otherwise required to maintain status as Operator in Responsible Charge of wastewater system operations in compliance with State of Colorado regulations

Pay range is $25.48-$27.88/hr depending on qualifications.

Meridian Service Metropolitan District provides water, wastewater, drainage, parks, and recreation services to the planned Meridian Ranch recreational community.

District employees participate in a 401(a) defined contribution retirement plan as a qualifying alternative to Social Security. The District also offers a voluntary 457 deferred compensation plan with a District match and a Roth IRA. Childcare Associate

  • Reports To: Childcare Coordinator
  • Wage: $12.32 - $13.50/Hour

In Falcon - Meridian Service Metropolitan District is recruiting for a part-time Childcare associate. Responsibilities include engaging, supervising, and caring for children ages 6 weeks – 6 years old in the childcare center within the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Cares for children in a defined area of the recreation center.
  • Organizes and participates in children’s’ recreational activities such as games.
  • Reads to children, and teaches them simple painting, drawing, crafts, and songs.
  • Care for special needs children.
  • Organizes, cleans, and stores toys and materials.
  • Must portray a fun and energetic demeanor.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Previous experience supervising and caring for children.

Certificates and Licenses:
Infant and Child First Aid & CPR required within 90 days of hire.

Board of Directors Meetings

The Board of Directors for the Meridian Ranch Metropolitan District, along with the Meridian Service Metropolitan District meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month following the first Tuesday of the month. The meetings start at 10:00 Am and are held at 10301 Angeles Road.
